GDPR is the General Data Protection Regulation that is now being required on websites, where you tell your visitors how you use their information.
In the near future, I’ll be offering a package that installs GDPR-compliant material on websites, so you can feel assured your website is in compliance with sharing how you use any information collected from your website forms, your mailing list, any e-Commerce transactions, and how you remove information if requested.
Currently it’s in force in the European Union – OR – if your website is accessed by someone in the EU, or accessed in the states by an EU citizen. It’s still in its early stages, but the fines proposed are tremendous.
Send me a note if you’d be interested in developing a GDPR package to protect your WordPress website and your company.
